Crowell Hilaka Trail Run
The Crowell Hilaka Trail Run takes place at the Richfield Heritage Preserve in Richfield, OH. The event offers multiple distances and follows trails that include primitive single track, sections of the Ohio Buckeye Trail, bridle trails, open fields, and camp roads. Runners can expect trail conditions such as mud, slippery rocks, exposed roots, and minor water crossings. The race occurs in mid September when autumn colors are beginning to appear.

The course for 2026 includes a 0.6-mile paved section to improve navigation. The format uses a roughly 6-mile loop repeated for each distance: five laps for the 50K, two laps for the half marathon, and one lap for the 10K. Aid stations will provide water, gels, and salty and sugary items, with more substantial offerings later on the 50K. Bib pickup is handled at the start location in the summer barn on race day, and limited Saturday pickup may be possible once registration closes.
The event is organized by Fast Girls Running Company. Awards are given to overall and masters top male and female finishers for each distance. Unisex T shirts will be ordered on 2026-08-28. Registration closes on September 11, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
