Heroes for Heroes 5K Obstacle Course or 5K Run/Walk

Heroes for Heroes is a fundraising running event organized by the Reynoldsburg Parks and Recreation Department and the Reynoldsburg Division of Police to benefit Hope For The Warriors, a non-profit serving post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen. The event takes place on September 13 at Civic Park in Reynoldsburg.

Two course options are offered:

  • 5K Obstacle Course for individuals or teams of 1 to 2 people
  • 5K Paved Course on a paved path through Civic Park, open to runners and walkers; strollers are allowed

The obstacle course includes multiple features such as walls, low crawls, traversing through water, mud pits, an Israeli sked pull, and tire flips. Public safety personnel, military personnel, and citizens from across Ohio may compete. Registrations are non refundable and non transferable. Entry fees vary by category with listed prices ranging from USD 25 to 60; teams of two follow a specific registration procedure where each individual registers and then creates or joins a team.

Awards include participant medals for all finishers and top three placings for team obstacle, individual obstacle, and the traditional 5K. Additional event details such as swag and course maps are noted by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
