Trail Running calendar near Ridgecrest 2026-2027

A 135 mile invitational ultramarathon from Badwater Basin in Death Valley to Whitney Portal near Mt. Whitney. Runners cover desert and mountain terrain with a 45 hour limit and must be supported by a single vehicle crew.

October 2026

Multiple race distances start and finish at Sam Lynn Ballpark in Bakersfield, featuring mixed terrain on paved and dirt trails and a notable climb on the half. Aid stations, race day services, post race refreshments and awards are provided.

A high country trail event in the Angeles National Forest offering a 50k and a 13.1 mile half marathon, substantial elevation, multiple aid stations, finish festival amenities and a $500 course record bonus for the 50k.
