The Rock Cobbler Run is an off-road trail event held on November 8, 2025 at Rio Bravo Ranch, 15701 Highway 178, Bakersfield, CA. The event grew from the Rock Cobbler gravel ride and is presented as a very demanding trail run with a limited field of 300 runners. Entry fee is $150 and refunds are not offered. Routes, gear and logistics

  • Full Cobbler: 26 mi / 41.84 km, roughly 4,500 ft of elevation gain
  • Pebbler: 13 mi / 20.92 km, roughly 2,200 ft of elevation gain
  • Junior Pebbler: same as Pebbler, for ages 13-17

The course is fully off-road trail style. Good trail shoes and sock/shoe gaiters are required. Shirts are required; no shirtless running. Fully stocked aid stations and SAG stops will provide fluid hydration and food on course. Event provisions include a swag bag, food after the run (including lunch items and beverages), breakfast and coffee from Covenant Coffee, a raffle (all runners auto-entered), and a special gift for participants. Car and RV camping is available for a fee; sites have no services. Basic rules include professional timing and age breakdowns, no ear buds, and no outside support.
