Logistics and race details

Registration closes on October 15, 2025. Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Museum of Western Film History in Lone Pine and again at the start area on race day. Each participant receives a John Wayne Grit Series participant shirt and finishers receive a finisher mug and finisher shirt at the finish line. All cancer survivors who register are eligible for a complimentary yellow bandana at packet pickup while supplies last.

Parking is available at the Museum of Western Film History with shuttle service to the start line; there is no parking at the start. The event is cup-less; runners should use a handheld bottle or hydration pack. There are three aid stations on the half marathon course and two on the 10K. Race prizes include three female and three male podium winners per course. Post-race activities include music and a gathering at the Alabama Hills Cafe.
