Organization and Registration

The event is operated under a permit on the Inyo National Forest. A team of volunteers from the Lone Pine community, along with Chamber of Commerce staff and board members, supports the race. Registration is handled via UltraSignUp. The event has a no-refund policy, but a 50% credit towards the next year's registration fee is offered for withdrawals made until 30 days prior to the race.
