- A $500 course record bonus is available for the women's and men's 50k.
- The 50k race is a Sterling Silver Ticket Race for the Angeles Crest 100-mile Endurance Run, with the top two male and female finishers earning guaranteed entry.
- The race is part of a Trail Half Series, where completing races can earn participants season passes and an award plaque.
- There is a separate competitive Trail Half League with Elite and Open categories.
- All finishers receive a locally-made medal.
- The event includes free race photography, post-race tacos (with a vegan option), coffee, and sports massage.

The event site is at Mill Creek Summit and the Pony Park Day Use Area. On-site parking is not available; participants must use an off-site parking lot in Pearblossom with a shuttle service to the start.
