Pacifico Ultra
Pacifico Ultra is a trail running event in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, California on May 29, 2027. The event, produced by SoCalTrail, offers two distances that follow Pacifico Mountain Road and the Silver Moccasin Trail through high country terrain and pine forests above the high desert.
Routes combine technical singletrack, mountainside truck trails and paved access roads. Elevation on race day begins near 5,000 feet with most miles between about 5,600 and 7,100 feet. The course passes Mount Gleason, Mount Hillyer and Pacifico Mountain and offers panoramic views toward the Angeles National Forest and the Mojave Desert.
- 50k Ultra: 31.8 miles, 5,317 feet gain, 10 hour time limit
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, 2,293 feet gain
The 50k includes multiple aid stations and listed cutoffs along the route; the half marathon includes three aid stations. Event services include free course photography, a finish festival with tacos and shaded seating, sports massage, medical support and same day results. The 50k serves as a Sterling Silver Ticket Race for the Angeles Crest 100 and offers a $500 course record bonus for men and women. Overall winners receive complimentary entry and flights to the Mar a Mar stage race and half marathon winners receive Mar a Mar race entries. All SoCalTrail races are cupless.
