The Pacifico Ultra takes place in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, CA. The event offers two distances:
- 50k Ultra
- Half-Marathon (about 13 miles)

Course, services and logistics
Both courses traverse Pacifico Mountain Road and the Silver Moccasin Trail with a mix of technical singletrack, mountainside truck trails and paved roads. Runners begin near 5,000 feet elevation with most miles between about 5,600 and 7,100 feet. The 50k is listed as 31.8 miles with 5,621 feet of elevation gain and a 10-hour time limit. The half-marathon shows about 13 miles with 2,510 feet of gain. The 50k includes nine aid stations; the half-marathon includes three aid stations.
Event services include finisher medals for both distances, free course photography, on-course medical support, same-day results, finish-line food (including tacos and a vegan option), sports massage and shaded seating at the finish area. The race is designated as cupless.
The 50k is a Sterling Silver Ticket race for the Angeles Crest 100; the top two men and top two women receive Sterling Silver Tickets and guaranteed entry into that 100-mile event, subject to the ticket rules that include completing trail work and paying the race entry fee.
