Pacifico Ultra is a trail running event in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, California. The event uses Pacifico Mountain Road and the Silver Moccasin Trail, and runs through pine forests, Mount Gleason and Mount Hillyer with panoramic views toward the ANF and the Mojave Desert.
Distances offered:
- 50k Ultra: 31.8 miles with 5,317 feet of elevation gain and a 10-hour time limit.
- Half-Marathon 21k: 13.1 miles with 2,293 feet of elevation gain.
Both courses include technical singletrack, mountainside truck trails and some paved stretches. Runners should expect high-country terrain that starts near 5,000 feet and spends much of the route between about 5,600 and 7,100 feet. The 50k features nine aid stations and the half-marathon features three aid stations. All SoCalTrail races are cupless.
On-site services and event features include free race photography, a fully stocked finish festival with tacos and shaded seating, sports massage, professional medical support and same-day results. The 50k offers a $500 course record bonus for each gender and serves as a Sterling Silver Ticket race for the Angeles Crest 100, with top finishers earning guaranteed entries subject to race fee and trail work requirements.
