A guided recce of the Paddy Buckley leg from Capel Curig to Nantmor across the Moelwyns, covering 35 km with 2,500 m of ascent on 3 May 2026. Small groups led by Mountain Leader qualified guides; entry fee £95 and minimum age 18.

A 12 mile off road run across the Clovelly Estate on 3 May 2026, organised by RNLI Events. The course features steep hills and views, tickets are shown from £33.22 to £38.62 and the event is for 18 plus.

A 13.4 km fell race around Talgarth with 610 m of ascent. The course is partially marked and requires navigation; entry is £10 pre entry or £15 on the day and the event is insured by the WFRA.

An annual off-road race day around Chepstow Park Woods starting and finishing at Hood Memorial Hall, Devauden. Distances include 10k, 5k, 2.4k for ages 8 plus and a 60m junior dash with a small donation on the day.

A provisional cross-country on 6 May 2026 covering 5.3 km with 100 m of ascent. Entry on the day costs £10 and this edition is announced as the race's final running.

A 6.9 km running event at Ysgol Dinas Bran in Llangollen with 350 m of ascent. The course is partially marked, minimum age over 16, day-entry fee £5, with refreshments plus showers and changing available.

A three-person relay at Chirk Castle on 7 May 2026 where each runner covers an approximately 2 mile lap. Categories include male, female, mixed and juniors aged 14 to 17, with category prizes and online results.

A 10 hour loop race on Mynydd Troed with steep climbs, technical descents and marked clip stations. Open to solo runners, pairs and teams of four, with mandatory kit and a strict 10 hour cutoff.

A 50 mile trail ultramarathon on coastal and upland terrain around Minehead with about 7,337 ft of ascent, six aid stations and a 16 hour cutoff. It is a cupless race with GPX navigation provided.

Trail races at Martinhoe on 9 May 2026 offering 10K, half, marathon and ultra routes across moorland, woods, cliffs and coast. Part of the Endurancelife season with points contributing to the Season Leaderboard.

A Welsh trail event offering a 100-mile loop from Abergavenny and a 100 km route from Talgarth to Abergavenny, both following Offa’s Dyke, Cambrian Way and Beacons Way across mountain terrain.

A 115 km multi-discipline race from Abersoch Beach to Snowdon summit and back, combining a sea swim, road cycling and a mountain ascent via The Watkin Path. The 2026 event reached a 400-person capacity and is currently sold out.

A set of off-road fell races in the Preseli hills featuring a 10.8-mile Bach and an approx 24-mile Beast with substantial ascent, marked and partly supported courses, category prizes, and WFRA safety and kit requirements.

Four named loops add to 50 miles in Church Stretton, with choices from 10 miles to the full 50 miles and a rolling 16 hour buffet at the central HQ. The event allows loops in any order and direction for a variable distance challenge.

A three-stage route linking Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan across North, Mid and South Wales, covering about 17 miles and 2,334 m of ascent in roughly 19 hours. Options include guided events with leaders and transport or self-organised..

A 12.8 km fell race near Llanberis with 915 m of climb, a ridge route over Moel Eilio, Foel Gron, Foel Goch and Moel Cynghorion, and navigational challenges in poor visibility. Registration is at The Heights Hotel.

A recce of the Paddy Buckley leg from Nantmoor to Beddgelert Forest over the Hebogs, covering 15 km with 1,580 m ascent in Snowdonia. Small guided groups led by Mountain Leader qualified runners, age 18 plus, entry fee £65.

A 10 km trail run at Symonds Yat in the Forest of Dean with undulating terrain and views of the River Wye. The final 1 km includes a large climb to the finish. Coffee and hot food are available at the start and finish.
