Beat the Black Dog is a 12 km canitrail and trail run at Halo Ogmore Valley Life Centre in Ogmore Vale on 13 September 2026, held in aid of PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide.

A roughly 10 km multi-terrain run around Crediton, mostly off road on footpaths, fields and quiet lanes. The course is signposted, offers water at 5 km and the finish, and includes medals, goody bags and category prizes.

A 12 hour Backyard Ultra on a 4.2 mile loop near Crickhowell in the Black Mountains, mixing trail and tarmac. Medals are awarded for 32 miles and trophies go to the first placed male and female on the final lap.

Run Wytham Woods offers a 5K, 10K and one mile family run through Wytham Great Wood, with uphill and downhill sections and views towards Oxford. The event is organised by the Eynsham community and will return in 2027.

A scenic trail running event at Hambledon Vineyard offering races from 1 km to 20 km, chip timed with trophies and fundraising for Brain Tumour Research and Hambledon Primary School.
