Hambledon Hilly is scheduled for 20 September 2025 at Hambledon Vineyard in Hambledon, Hampshire (PO7 4RY). This is the 10th edition of the event and the venue has changed to Hambledon Vineyard, described as England's oldest commercial vineyard. The vineyard will be open on the day, including its restaurant and bar; bookings are advised.

Courses and entries

The event offers multiple distances with age limits and entry fees:

  • 20km - 15 years or older; fee £20.00
  • 10km - 15 years or older; fee £20.00
  • 5km - 12 years or older; fee £15.00
  • 2km - up to 12 years old; fee £7.50
  • 1km - up to 12 years old; fee £7.50

Children’s 1km and 2km races are held within the estate. Other races start and finish at the vineyard and include an uphill final stretch. The 5km is about 50% trail, on quiet lanes and trails. The 10km is also about 50% trail; a 2km section is described as technical with ruts, roots, flint and possible mud, and is not expected to be a personal best course. The 20km consists of two loops of the 10km route. Entries opened 2 April 2025 and closed 14 September 2025; 250 participants were listed. Join WRNL 3 in Colden Common for a lively 60 minute orienteering score event where you pick controls in any order to rack up points. Lights and hi viz required; hired dibbers available and juniors must be accompanied.

Tackle a 50 km ultra linking five classic long distance trails or choose a half marathon through chalk downland and woodland near Graffham. Enjoy stunning views, stocked checkpoints, SportIdent timing and an eco wood finisher medal.

Big Night Out Winchester is a torchlit trail run on the South Downs from Winchester Athletics Track with 12 km and 22 km options. Run by headtorch along ridges and rivers and opt to have a tree planted instead of a finishers medal.

Join the Southampton MoRun on 9 November 2025 at Southampton Common to support Movember and men's health. Choose 1.5k, 5k, 10k or the half marathon and enjoy a medal, headband and post race treats.

Join the New Forest Central Trail Run at Roundhill Campsite for 10km, 17km or 22km routes through ancient woodland and heath. Enjoy undulating gravel trails, roaming ponies and a plastic free event with water, medals and chip timing.

Join SE Champs Weekend on 15 and 16 November for night and middle orienteering in a largely new area beside Britty Wood, open to all abilities. Expect tough championship courses, friendly atmosphere and on site toilets and refreshments.
