Trail Running calendar near Hallow 2026-2027

MacTuffX Swindon at the County Ground on 11 October 2026 pairs ten Xercises with running across solo, doubles and relay formats, with an 18 plus age requirement and a LITE weight division available.

A new fell race on the Cat's Back ridge in the Black Mountains covering about 11.7 km with 492 m ascent. The partly marked, rocky route requires full kit and appropriate fell shoes and is open to runners aged 16 and over.

A community off road running event in Marshfield on Sunday 11 October 2026 with children's and adult distances. Entries support Marshfield Primary School and the routes use temporary access across private land.

Black To The Trails 2026 brings family friendly and longer trail runs to Blaise Castle in Bristol on 11 October 2026, with 1K, 5K and 10K options and free entry for under 16s.

Trail half marathon and 10k around Carsington Water on 17 October 2026, with marked kilometres, marshals and GPX files. Entries include a themed medal, water and post race goodies.

A 100 mile trail race from Goring & Streatley using Thames Path and Ridgeway routes in four 25 mile out and back spurs. The event has 16 aid stations, full medical support, a 28 hour cut off and mandatory kit and qualifier requirements.

Two trail races in the Amber Valley offering 31 miles and 20 miles over undulating countryside and woodland. The course is largely unmarked but route notes and GPX files are provided, with checkpoints supplying water and some food.

Trail races at Loggerheads Copuntry Park with a 6km loop, a 12km two-lap option and a 6km Canicross. Courses are marked and marshalled and entry fees range from £19 to £22.

On 17 October 2026 Amberaid offers a 31 miles route and the Petit Raid a 20 miles route through Amber Valley countryside, both largely unmarked but supported with GPX files, checkpoints, medals and medic cover.

An untimed 5k and 10k mud and obstacle run at Lyons Lane Motocross LTD in Shrewsbury, featuring brook crossings, hill climbs, a mud crawl and a water slide finish; specific age and supervision rules apply for children.

A guided 10 miles trail run around the Chilterns, following canals and reservoirs and passing Britain’s oldest post windmill. The event includes a run leader, trail technique instruction and a finisher’s medal.

A *50 km* trail on the marked Brenig Way from Corwen to Llyn Brenig dam, with 1450 m ascent, varied upland and forest terrain, three checkpoints, required kit and GPS trackers provided.

An eight hour looped ultramarathon at Delamere Forest where runners complete as many 6.02 km loops as possible. Mixed gravel and trail terrain with a single aid station, chip timing and results showing laps, distance and time.

Join the Aberfan Memorial Run in Merthyr Tydfil to honour the 1966 victims and support the Aberfan Memorial Charity. Choose 5 km to ultra on a scenic tarmac loop along the Taff Trail with flexible start times and official timing.

Keynsham Dandy is an off-road race on 18 October 2026 organised by Town and Country Harriers; the roughly 12.5 mile course starts in Keynsham and includes the revived Compton Dando route with a stream, with Race HQ at The New Inn.

Trail running in Wyre Forest on 18 October 2026 with a timed half marathon and a 7.6 mile Super Seven option, finishers medals, category prizes, medical cover and fully marshalled, signed routes.

A memorial road and off road event organised by Green Events featuring a half marathon and a 12k in mountainous scenery. The race is cupless, open to those over 16, and lists online and on the day entry options.
