A fell race held within the Osmotherley Show in North Yorkshire on 1 August 2026, covering 8.8 km with 320 m of climb. Entry is open to runners aged 16 and over with day registration and show admission required.

Borrowdale Fell Race on 1 Aug 2026 is a Lake District fell race of 27 km with about 2000 m ascent based at Rosthwaite village. Pre-entry is required, the fee is £16, teams of three are allowed and minimum age is 18.

A licensed 10 km trail race in Gisburn Forest on 1 August 2026, organised by Pendle Trail Running Club. Entries open in April with entry fees, a race medal, professional photography, chip timing and optional t shirts available.

A fell race on Farleton Knott near Kendal with a **2.60 mile** route and 750 feet of climb, designated as a BOFRA Championship counter. Separate senior, under-17 and junior courses are provided and parking costs £3.

Join the Round Hill fell race for a challenging 14.1 km course with sweeping York Dales views, starting and finishing in charming Timble village. Entry is on the day for a small fee and part of the proceeds support brain tumour research.

A coastal trail marathon and half marathon on Holy Island and Spittal with multi terrain routes, tidal causeway access, limited entries and on-course support. Finishers receive a commemorative medal.

The South Shields 10 Mile marks its 10th anniversary on 2 August 2026 with a scenic out and back from Souter Lighthouse along the coastline. The mixed surface course includes water stations, a finisher medal and awards for the top three men..

A mid-summer out-and-back fell race from Mytholmroyd to Crow Hill, about 5 miles with 305 m ascent, including moorland climbs and a woodland descent. Entry on the day for £5; proceeds support Calder Valley Search & Rescue Team.

A multi-terrain 5.5-mile (8.8 km) race around Hopwood Hall near Middleton, Greater Manchester, with registration at the college sports hall. The event has an entry limit of 200, a minimum age of 16 and individual and team prizes.

A short fell race at Steel End Farm, Thirlmere in the Lake District covering 4 km with 400 m of climb. Day entry is available free, minimum age 16, and the race carries FRA permit and UK Athletics insurance.

Part of a four-event 10k series, the Darlington Trail 10k is a fast, flat course in Low Coniscliffe, Darlington, open to all ages and abilities. All entrants receive a medal and goody bag, with prizes for top finishers and a series league.
