Trail Running calendar near Deal 2026-2027

A South Downs trail running event based at Lancing College offering 5K, 10K, Marathon and 50K routes across grassy trails, chalk paths and ridgelines, with marked, chip-timed courses and aid stations.

Experience a scenic run through the historic Richmond Park on this UK Athletics Affiliated course. Choose between a half or full marathon distance following the trails and private roads of London’s largest Royal Park.

A trail run entirely within Richmond Park offering half marathon and marathon distances, a route past the White House and park lakes, and on-course drinks and feed stations.

A self navigation trail event along the Colne Valley Path with marathon and half marathon distances, stocked aid stations, cupless arrangements, a pre-race shuttle and optional medal choices.

A 7.5 km trail loop around Ticehurst on 23 August 2026 with over 70 percent trail, a fully marked and marshalled course and an entry limit of 60 runners. Facilities are at Ticehurst Village Hall with tea and cake after the run.

A timed, multi-distance event at Ardingly Reservoir with lap-based 7 km out-and-back course, a seven hour limit and flexible start window; finishers receive a donut medal and a no-medal entry option is available.

Two self-navigation trail races near Chelmsford: an approximately 16 miles hilly Admiral McHilly Trail and a flatter approximately 6 miles Chelmer Trail. Routes are issued on the day with no markings or GPX files.

The Coast Run will take place in Middelkerke on Friday 28 August 2026. You can run between 6 and 10 kilometers.

A last person standing backyard ultra at Gosfield School in Essex where runners repeat a 4.167 mile loop each hour until one remains. Onsite camping, showers and a small aid station are available for participants.

A Backyard Ultra at Frylands Wood Scout Outdoor Centre on 29th August 2026 where runners complete **four miles** every hour until one remains. The event is listed as sold out.

A mud and obstacle event near Dorking, Surrey with a permanent assault course and a variety of natural and man made obstacles. Race options include 5K and 10K and the event accepts solo runners, teams and charity groups.

A trail race on 30 August 2026 linking five woodlands with hilly terrain and single track sections; entry was limited to 125 places and the event is now closed.

A mixed trail and road out and back race from Woldingham School. The half is one 13.1 mile lap and the full is two laps, with notable climbs, varied scenery and on course aid stations and goody bags.

The La Cromagnon will take place in Drucat on Sunday 30 August 2026. You can run between 8 and 16 kilometers.

Experience a scenic trail run through the grounds of Shoreham Woods in Kent. This chip timed 10k event features woodland paths and supports the local environment and dementia research.

The Trail du Bocage à Samer will take place in Samer on Sunday 30 August 2026. You can run between 6 and 21 kilometers.

The Les 100 foulées de la St Gilliet will take place in Fruges on Sunday 30 August 2026. You can run between 5 and 12 kilometers.

A trail event in Felsted on 31 Aug 2026 offering approx 10 miles or 10 km routes with written navigation only and no course markings. Entry includes a sandwich voucher and specific entry and transfer rules apply.

A sunset trail event at Ickworth Park offering 5K and 10K routes across limestone paths, woodland and meadows. The 10K is chip timed, all finishers receive a medal and the event operates as cupless with water refill points.

The Kemmelberg Trail will take place in Heuvelland on Saturday 5 September 2026. You can run between 12 and 50 kilometers.
