The Nuts Challenge : Summer Nuts (29 August 2026)

The Nuts Challenge is a mud and obstacle event held near Dorking in Surrey, close to London. The Summer Nuts edition is scheduled for 29 August 2026 and welcomes fun runners, teams, charities and corporate groups. The organiser operates a permanent assault course on natural terrain and runs events year round.

The course contains a large number of natural and man made obstacles, including mud trenches, water obstacles, walls, cargo nets, tunnels, crawling and climbing sections, and trail running between features. The site is maintained as a single, permanent course and the layout is updated regularly so returning participants can expect new arrangements of obstacles. Multiple laps are an option on some race formats.

The event also references a challenge scale called the Nuttie Scale to indicate levels of difficulty. The format allows solo entries, team entries and entries for charity or corporate days. Trail runs nearby

A guided 10 km trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl in Hindhead, Surrey. Hilly evening and night runs in a group setting with parking available and a kit list provided; cost £22 per person.

A timed charity run along the Thames with lap options from 5.3 km up to ultra distances. The Run for a Tenner entry donates £10 to Rays of Sunshine and all finishers receive a bespoke medal.

A day of trail running in the South Downs National Park on 4 July 2026, with five distances from 10 km to 100 km, coach transport to starts, camping, food and a kids race at the Petersfield venue.
