Trail Running calendar near Chichester 2026-2027

Experience the dramatic Jurassic Coast around Swanage on 6 December 2025 with wet, challenging trail and coastal climbs from 10K to ultra. Fully marked course with electronic timing and finishers medals, but entries are full.

A fully signed trail ultra in the Surrey Hills, the Hurtwood 50k features a 10 hour time limit, checkpoints with food and drink, SportIdent timing with live leaderboards, and a five-mile loop within an out-and-back course.

Mince Pie 10 is a festive 10 mile road and trail run around Peacehaven with a testing hill, mud and Christmas tunes. Fancy dress, mince pies and recycled medals, all raising funds for local charities.

New Forest Xmas Trails offers festive trail races from Holmesly Campsite in the New Forest. Distances range from 15 km to a 50 km ultramarathon on fully marked heath and woodland trails; opt to plant a tree instead of a medal.

Winter Runderland in Walton on Thames is a timed lap event on a 5.3 km riverside towpath course. Runners may select distances from 5 km up to ultra, and a lower-cost no-medal entry option is available.

Join the Penshurst Village Cross Country Run on Sunday 3 January 2027 for challenging 5 mile and canicross races over scenic local trails and open ground. Enjoy a friendly village atmosphere and a great day out for runners and their dogs.

A timed lap event along the Thames towpath combining running and a doughnut theme. Participants choose how many 5.3 km laps to run, receive a bespoke finisher medal, and can take part attended or virtually.

A fully signed 50 km trail ultra on the North Downs Way and Norbury Park with 2986 ft ascent, four checkpoints and a finishers medal. The race is based at Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking and has a minimum age of 16.
