Portsmouth/Langstone Coastal Half Marathons + 2027
The Portsmouth and Langstone Coastal Half Marathons take place on 13 and 14 February 2027 along the south coast of Hampshire. The event comprises two separate half marathons held across two days, with an option to enter both.
- Half marathon (Langstone Harbour) - trail route from Hayling Island to Eastney Point
- Half marathon (Portsmouth Coastal) - multi-terrain loop starting and finishing near South Parade Pier
The Langstone Harbour race begins on Hayling Island and includes an optional ferry crossing to the mainland. The route follows muddy harbour trails and finishes at Eastney Point. The Portsmouth Coastal race runs around the eastern edge of Portsea Island along promenades and seafront terrain; the description notes a fast, flat coastal section and exposed conditions that may include strong wind.
A limited edition bonus medal, the Double Trouble Valentine Medal, is awarded to participants who run both days. There is a discount for entering both races. Entry fees are listed between £40 and £80. The venue for the Portsmouth race is given as S Parade, Southsea, Portsmouth PO4 0SW. The event is organised by Believe and Achieve Events Ltd and is supported by Alexandra Sports. Participants are invited to bring a foodbank donation; the Food Bank Run was established in 2023.
