Portsmouth/Langstone Coastal Half Marathons 2027

The event comprises two half marathons held over Valentine’s weekend on 13 and 14 February 2027 along the Hampshire coast. Each day stages a separate half marathon route that follows coastal and harbour-side paths.

Distances:

  • Langstone Harbour Half Marathon (Hayling Island to Eastney Point)
  • Portsmouth Coastal Half Marathon (South Parade Pier, Southsea loop)

Day one starts on Hayling Island and includes an optional ferry crossing to the mainland. The Langstone route uses muddy harbour trails and finishes at Eastney Point, passing sea views and exposed shoreline. Day two starts and finishes next to South Parade Pier in Southsea and follows a flat coastal loop around the eastern edge of Portsea Island, with promenades and seafront scenery noted along the route.

Entrants who run both days receive a limited-edition Double Trouble Valentine medal. Entry fees are shown as £40 to £80. The event listing gives the venue as S Parade, Southsea, Portsmouth PO4 0SW and runs across two consecutive days in February 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
