The Doughnut Dash is an annual timed running event. Participants can run a 5.3 km out-and-back course along the Thames riverside towpath. The terrain is an off-road trail with no elevation change, making it a flat route.

Distances and format

This is a flexible-format event. Runners can choose their own distance by completing as many or as few laps as they wish within the time limit. There is no requirement to decide a distance in advance.

Participant experience

The event includes doughnuts as part of the experience. All finishers receive a custom medal that is double-sided, magnetic, and has a reversible ribbon. The 2027 edition features new neon medal colors.
