Cragg Vale on 1 July 2026 is a 4 miles (6.4 km) fell race with 244 m of climb run from the village near Cragg Vale Church. Entry on the day is £8 cash and registration and refreshments are based at Cragg Church.

A 10.5 km fell race to the summit of Whernside with 468 m of ascent, starting near Ribblehead Viaduct and finishing by The Station Inn in Ribblehead. The race follows FRA rules and requires mandatory safety kit and an age minimum of 18.
