Two Brews Run in Altrincham

This is a monthly social trail run that meets at Kickback Coffee in Altrincham. Participants are offered coffee at the meeting point before a point to point route of approximately 16 km along the canal, which finishes at Track Brewing Taproom where a free beer is provided.

Run leaders introduce themselves before departure and are available to answer route and trail questions. The event is socially paced and organisers state that no runner is left behind. Runners may join for a shorter section of the route; the group notes that some people make it a 5 km outing and meet everyone at the Taproom. The route also follows the tram line in parts.

Practical notes supplied by the organiser include a request to complete an event waiver before taking part and that there is one toilet at the Kickback location. Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control. The event adheres to a Code of Conduct covering personal responsibility, respectful behaviour, mindfulness of other trail users, and leaving no trace.
