Lymm Festival races
The Lymm Festival races take place at Lymm High School, Oughtrington Lane WA13 0RB, and include a main trail event plus a children's fun run. All courses use grass or dirt paths and the main trail passes through Helsdale Wood and Spud Wood. Both races start and finish on the school playing fields.
Distances:
- 5 mile trail race through school fields, Helsdale Wood and Spud Wood
- 2 km kids fun run on the school playing fields
The 5 mile race is open to runners aged 16 years and over. The kids fun run is for ages 4 to 15 and its proceeds go to the Woodland Trust charity. Entry fees listed are £17 for unaffiliated runners and £15 for affiliated runners; a £2 UKA discount is applied at checkout. There is a £2 discount on entries made before the end of March. Entries close on Sun 14 Jun 2026. Refunds are not available; places can be transferred to another runner up to 23:59 on Sun 14 Jun 2026.
Prizes are awarded in male and female categories including open positions and veteran first places, plus male and female team prizes. The event is not suitable for buggies or runners with dogs. Race numbers should be collected on the morning of the event. Organisers may record or photograph participants for later download and publicity.
