Trail Running calendar near Bromsgrove 2026-2027

An evening trail run at Bodenham Arboretum on 13 June 2026 offering 5 km and 10 km options; mixed-terrain routes, online-only entry with limited places, and funds raised for local charity and scout group support.

A fell race held since 1986 at The Whistle Inn near Garn yr Erw, Blaenavon, with an 8 km/300 m ascent option and a 5/984 ft option. Entries are accepted on the day or online and runners should carry appropriate safety kit.

A backyard ultra at Breakheart Quarry in the Cotswolds where runners repeat a 6706 m loop every hour until one person remains. Camping and on-site facilities are provided; early bird entry is £75.

Trail races on 14 June 2026 in Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills offer distances from 1 km to Marathon plus an Omnium multi event. Courses include marked trails, varied terrain, frequent feed stations and event medals for 6 km and longer.

Trail races in Kingsclere, Hampshire on Sunday 14 June 2026 with marathon, half marathon and 10k on clearly marked single-lap off-road courses. Marshals are stationed along the routes and parking is available nearby.

A fell running event in Edale featuring a 7.6 km course with 402 m of ascent and a finish on the Edale Country Day Field. Entry includes admission to Edale Country Day and entries close on Friday 12 June.

Run as many 3.28 mile laps as you wish along the scenic Stroud Waterways canal. This flexible timed event caters to all distances from 5k to ultra marathon with a seven hour time limit and a relaxed start window.

A community cross country 5km run and walk around Neptune and Paradise Wood with refreshments at The Plough and category awards across age groups. Walkers may bring dogs on leads and entries are limited to 250.

A Peak District fell race on 16 June 2026 covering 6.8 km with 305 m of climb around Lea Green, Matlock. Entry on the day is available for £7 and juniors may run free with the main race.

A fast, tough *8.5 km* fell race near Castleton in the Peak District, run under FRA rules as category BS. The partly flagged, 370 m ascent route raises funds for Derbyshire Cave Rescue and passes upland moors and White Peak valleys.

Race 3 of the Northants 5 km Series runs near Silverstone at Blackpit Farm on Wednesday 17th June. The multi terrain course passes woodlands, lakeside lawns and farmland and all finishers receive a bespoke 5 km medal.

A midweek memorial trail race around Frodsham Hill organised by Helsby Running Club, covering 8.4 km with 370 m of ascent. The route is marked and marshalled, chip-timed, licensed by the TRA, and open to runners aged 17 and over.

A hill race at Maeshafn covering 7.2km with 458m of ascent. Entry is on the day for £4 and parking is limited.

Rodney's Pillar is a provisional 5.2 km race on 17 June 2026 with 280 m of ascent. Entry is by pre-entry or on the day with fees of £7 pre-entry and £10 on-the-day.

An evening 10 km trail race around the high points of Milford and Brocton on Cannock Chase. The course is self navigation with route arrows and a suggested GPX file; entry is £10 and any profits go to Muscular Dystrophy.

A 4.5 miles fell race from the playing fields by Grindleford Pavilion through Hay Wood, the Longshore Estate and Padley Gorge, with a river crossing near the finish. The route is marshalled and partially taped and has a minimum age of 16.

An 8 km fell race around Millers Dale on 19 June 2026 with 180 m of ascent, following the Monsal Trail and returning via Cheedale stepping stones. Entry is limited to 200 and the minimum age is 18.

A hilly six mile fell race from Stalybridge to the Trigg point on Hobson Moor, held on 19 June 2026 as the second event in The Tour. The base is Tameside Sports Trust at Copley Recreation Centre and individual entry is shown at £10.

A point-to-point trail event on 20 June 2026 offering a 50 mile ultra and a marathon along the Three Shires Way through Bucks, Beds and Northants. Races are TRA licensed with aid stations, mandatory kit lists and coach transport from the fi..
