The Hampshire Hoppit

The Hampshire Hoppit is a set of trail races held in and around the village of Kingsclere in Hampshire. The event takes place on Sunday 14 June 2026 and features courses that are run mainly off-road through the local countryside. Each course is a clearly marked, single-lap route with marshals positioned along the way.

The location is described as midway between Basingstoke and Newbury on the A339, with access from major roads including the M3, M4 and A34. Race parking is available in a large nearby field. Photo albums from the event are maintained publicly on the organiser's site; images are not tagged to identify individuals and can be removed on request.

Organisers list support from a number of local and national organisations. The event information references the local running club BMHAC and notes that non members are welcome to sample what the club offers.

Trail runs nearby

A 50 mile point to point ultramarathon along the North Downs Way with 5,600 ft of ascent, six aid stations and a 13 hour cut off. The route is mostly trail and requires specific qualifying and mandatory kit.

The Twenty Sixth Compton Downland Challenge in Compton, Berkshire on 16 May 2026 features a full marathon and a 16 mile race with a seven hour time limit; route maps, elevation profiles and videos are provided.

A two day Spartan Trifecta weekend in Henley on Thames on May 16 and 17, 2026, featuring Sprint, Super, Beast and Kids races along town landmarks and the riverside. Team entries and spectator tickets are available.

The Ridge Off Roader is a trail run through the scenic Chiltern Hills. It offers a half marathon and a 10k route, plus a fun 1k for kids. All proceeds support the local school.
