Bodenham Bound 5k and 10k Charity Summer Run

Bodenham Bound is a summer evening trail run held on 13 June 2026 at Bodenham Arboretum in Wolverley, Kidderminster, Worcestershire. The event raises money for HELP, a local homeless charity, and the Harkaway Scout group. Entry is online only with a limited field of 160 places.

The course is multi-terrain and follows the boundary of the arboretum at the convergence of three valleys. Runners should expect hills, woodland trails, open ground, and some harder surfaces. Conditions may include uneven terrain, tree roots, muddy sections, and wet ground; trail shoes are recommended and there are no on-site changing facilities.

Distances:

  • 5km
  • 10km (two laps of the 5km course)

Practical details: water is available at the finish and there is a refill point at the end of the first lap; there are no water stations on the course, so runners are advised to bring reusable bottles. Finishers receive a medal and a donut. Parking is free on site. The event uses barcode timing which may be affected if runners change between distances. Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult. No refunds are offered and the event will be cancelled only in extreme conditions.
