Bodenham Bound 5k and 10k Charity Summer Run

Bodenham Bound – Summer 2026 is the first Summer edition of the Bodenham Bound series, held on 13 June 2026 at Bodenham Arboretum, Wolverley, Kidderminster, Worcestershire DY11 5TB. The event raises funds for HELP, a local homeless charity, and supports the Harkaway Scout group.

Participants choose between:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km (two laps of the 5 km course)

The course runs around the boundary of the arboretum and uses mixed terrain. Runners should expect hills, woodland trails, open ground, and some harder surfaces. Trail shoes are highly recommended. Water is available at the finish; there are no water stations on course but a refill point is provided at the end of the first lap. Runners are advised to bring a reusable water bottle.

Entry is online only with early bird and standard fees (£16 / £18) and a total field limit of 160 runners. Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult. The course is not wheelchair accessible. There are no changing facilities on site; attendees are asked to remove muddy shoes before entering buildings. Free on-site parking is available. Finishers receive a medal and a donut. Timing uses a barcode scanning system which may not be fully accurate if competitors switch distances on the day.
