This event is the third race in the Northants 5K Series, held at Blackpit Farm on Silverstone Road, Stowe, Buckinghamshire MK18 5LJ. The course is multi terrain and passes through woodlands, lakeside lawns and farmland associated with Blackpit Brewery.

The race distance is 5 km. The minimum age for participation is 11 years; 11 and 12 year olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant. All finishers receive a bespoke 5K race medal; each race in the series has a different medal. Car parking at Blackpit Brewery is free; attendees are asked to drive slowly and follow the onsite signage and parking directions to the overflow field. Toilet facilities are available at the venue. A mobile medical crew will be on standby during the event. Race packs and race numbers for the whole series are collected on race day at the red Nsport gazebo.

Entry fees are listed as £15.00 or £17.00 plus a non refundable booking fee of £1.50, with the lower fee applying to runners affiliated to UKA. Full race day details and route maps will be provided before the event. Deferral to another race in the series is permitted if requested before bookings close.
