A 17 mile fell race around Borrowdale with about 6500 feet of ascent, starting and finishing in Rosthwaite. Entry is limited to 350 and runners must meet specified experience and kit requirements.

A 10 km trail race through Gisburn Forest near Slaidburn, Lancashire on 1 August 2026, organised by Pendle Trail Running Club. Licensed by the Trail Running Association with entries open 18 April to 17 July.

Experience a flat multi-terrain race through the historic grade II listed grounds of Elvaston Castle Country Park. Choose between chip-timed 5k, 10k, and half marathon distances in a scenic parkland setting.

A fell race on Farleton Knott with a 2.60 mile / 4.20 km route and 750 feet / 230 meters of climb. The course climbs the front of the fell, crosses the top and returns along the lower path; parking costs £3.

Parwich Panoramic Five on Tue 4 Aug 2026 is an 8.5 km fell race in the Peak District with 200 m of climb, held at the Sycamore Inn in Parwich. Entry on the day is available for £5 and the minimum age is 18.

A mid-summer out-and-back fell race from Mytholmroyd to Crow Hill and back, about 5 miles with 305 m ascent, including a woodland descent through Redacre Woods. Part of Todmorden Harriers' Summer Series.

A new 4 mile route around Bradwell in the Peak District on Tue 4 Aug 2026 climbs 276 m for a rewarding hill challenge. Teams welcome and pre entry opens in May with on the day entries available at Bradwell Sports Pavilion.

Tackle the scenic Cracken Edge fell race in the Peak District on Wed 5 Aug 2026, a challenging 11.3 km route with 442 m of climb. Join runners raising funds for Kinder Mountain Rescue Team; teams welcome and entries available on the day.

A multi-terrain five and a half mile (8.8 km) run around Hopwood Hall on the outskirts of Middleton, Greater Manchester, organised by Middleton Harriers with individual and team prizes.

A scenic five mile multi-terrain race in Moulton near Northwich on 5 August 2026, with prizes for age categories and teams. All entrants receive a pie and peas supper with meat, vegan and gluten-free options.

Race Three of the Bramhall Runners Foodbank series is a 5.5 km community race through Happy Valley in Bramhall. Entry is limited to 250 runners and all proceeds support Stockport Foodbank.

An evening pop up run at Rodley on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal offering 5 km and 10 km options, turn up on the evening or pay online, with a jumble medal and post‑race food and drink available.

Eshton Moor is a 5 mile out-and-back cross-country race on undulating fields using the Pennine Way near Calton in Gargrave. It stages junior and senior races, awards perpetual trophies, and records include 31:05 for men and 35:44 for women.

A multi-terrain club race on Thursday 6 August 2026 around Care & Repair, Rowley’s Drive, Shotton, covering approximately 4 miles. Pre-entry fees apply; entrants must be 17 or older and entries are limited.

Salt Cellar Fell Race on 7 August 2026 is a Peak District fell race organised by Steel City Striders. The 10.9 km course gains 486 m, starts and finishes at Upper Derwent Reservoir, and supports local mountain rescue and the National Trust.

On Friday 7 August 2026 a single-lap 8.5 km trail around Lotherton Hall near Leeds runs through farmland and woodland and passes Hook Moor Wind Farm. Entry is limited to 250 runners and finishers receive a medal and a consumable.

A summer trail race on the edge of the Peak District covering just over 20 miles through Cordwell and Linacre valleys. The largely unmarked route has GPX and route notes, two staffed checkpoints and medic cover.
