Nant Yr Arian Silver Trail Races
The Nant Yr Arian Silver Trail Races take place in the Cambrian Mountains and are organised by Aberystwyth Athletic Club. The event offers multiple distances across varied trail terrain and includes children’s races.
Available distances and junior options:
- 25 km (Half Ultra)
- 10 km
- Junior under 7s: 0.5 mile, must be accompanied by an adult
- Junior ages 7-11: 1.5 miles
- Junior ages 12-16: 2.6 miles
Routes are fully signed and waymarked, with GPX files available as backup. Marshals are positioned around the courses. The 25 km race includes two feed stations and the 10 km race includes one feed station. Participants must carry a basic set of mandatory kit suitable for mountain weather conditions.
Entries open and close on specified dates and transfers are permitted only while entries are open; race deferrals are not possible. The event operates on a not for profit basis and supports local charities. An event village is provided with a family friendly local atmosphere.
