Nant Yr Arian Silver Trail Races
The Nant Yr Arian Silver Trail races take place on 20 March 2027 at Nant Yr Arian in the Cambrian Mountains. The event is organised by Aberystwyth Athletic Club and runs as a not for profit that supports local charities.
The event offers multiple distances and junior options:
- 25 km (Half Ultra) with two feed stations.
- 10 km with one feed station.
- Junior under 7: 0.5 mile, adult accompaniment required.
- Junior ages 7 to 11: 1.5 miles.
- Junior ages 12 to 16: 2.6 miles.
Entries open on 22 June 2026 and close on 10 March 2027. Transfers are available only while entries remain open and race deferrals are not possible. The routes are fully signed and waymarked, with GPX files provided as a backup. The 25 km race has two feed stations and the 10 km has one. Organisers require a basic level of mandatory kit for safety in mountain weather; they publish those details on their Facebook page.
The event village is described as family friendly with a local non corporate feel. As part of registration participants may purchase event T shirts, hoodies, and beanies.
