The Norwegian Foot March & Trail Run is an annual fitness event offering a 30K foot march, a 30K trail run, and a 5K trail run. It takes place at the Arden Hills Army Training Site and is open to the public and military community.

Crater Trail Run in Decorah, Iowa offers off road single track races from a kids mile to a 50K, with marked trails, several aid stations, and proceeds supporting local schools, trails and parks.

Storm the Woods offers four trail race distances at Chester Woods, from a 5K to a 50K ultramarathon. The event is organized by a non-profit focused on youth mental health awareness. Runners can choose between loops for the longer distances.

A community Juneteenth Fun Run on June 20, 2026 at Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis, offering a free 5K and a kids half mile, organized by the Loppet Foundation with community partners to mark Juneteenth.

Tough Mudder Twin Cities on June 27, 2026 at Wild Wings of Oneka in Hugo, MN offers 5K and 15K obstacle courses plus an Infinity option for stacked chip timed laps. Spectator passes, group packages, and volunteer opportunities are available..

July 2026

Experience the scenic beauty of Afton State Park in Minnesota with the Afton Trail Run. Participants can choose between 25 km and 50 km distances featuring river views, prairie loops, and challenging single-track climbs.

A 7 mile single loop through Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan Minnesota on July 8, 2026. The chip timed course has about 430 ft of elevation gain and a staffed water stop near 5 km.

Experience trail running through an active working farm in Winona Minnesota. Choose from five distances ranging from 5k to 43k with no cutoffs for the longest event.

A rolling five mile trail race at Spring Lake Park in Hastings, Minnesota, run as two figure eight loops over prairie and wooded single and double track with about 310 ft elevation gain. Field limit 425 and registration opens Jan 1, 2026.
