Course and logistics

The course uses private land at Briggs Outdoors and features steep climbs, open prairies, and shaded single-track trails in the Driftless Region. The main loop is a 10k+ route that includes two bluff climbs, a scenic valley, and a Cedar Creek crossing; multiple laps of this loop create the longer distances. The 5k uses part of the terrain with one bluff climb and mixed double- and single-track sections.

Pre-registration is required; there will be no race-day registration. The event is cupless - participants must carry a reusable cup, bottle, or hydration system; collapsible silicone cups will be available for purchase at check-in. Aid stations provide snacks, water, GU, and orange-flavored Tailwind with locations and mile markers specified for each course. Race shirts are available for purchase during registration with an ordering cutoff of June 15, 2026. Camping is available the night before for a fee.
