Trail Running Calendar Minnesota 2026-2027

Experience trail running through an active working farm in Winona Minnesota. Choose from five distances ranging from 5k to 43k with no cutoffs for the longest event.

A second annual 5K on the ski trails of Snowflake Nordic Ski Center in Duluth on July 18, 2026. The timed race benefits the Duluth East Boys and Girls Cross Country Team and includes finish-line treats and awards.

A community 5K and a new Backyard Ultra take place in Goodridge, MN on July 24, 2026, with a flat single-loop course near the Lions Hall and proceeds supporting the Warrior Trail Foundation.

A 50 miles out and back trail ultramarathon between Carlton and Duluth, Minnesota, over rugged singletrack with about 5,000 ft of ascent and descent. The course passes Jay Cooke State Park, Lake Superior overlooks, and the Swinging Bridge.
