About the race
Storm the Bluffs is a multi-discipline outdoor event held at Bronk Unit Plowline Trails, 26524 Brook Drive, Minnesota City MN on December 5, 2026. It is the fourth and final race in The Storm Trail Race Series and includes trail running, mountain biking, and an off road duathlon with relay options.

Course notes describe steep climbs and wooded singletrack through the bluff, with a nearly one mile downhill gravel finish on the 15k run. Mountain bike competitors follow most of the 15k course, including fast rolling single and double track, an early steep climb, and about one mile of descent to the finish. The 5k course is short and steep with no flat sections.
Aid stations: one station on the 15k course at 5.4 miles that is accessed again at mile 8.4; that station is available to the 5k course at about mile 1.7. Duathletes also have an aid station at the start and finish area.
The event is cupless; participants should provide a reusable cup or refillable bottle. Participant entry is capped at 120 with a wait list and an option to defer entries to the following year for a fee. Thirty percent of each registration fee and all registration donations will be given to Family & Children's Center for Youth Mental Health Programs.
