Donut Dash for Winona Area Public Schools
The Donut Dash is a community fundraising event held on May 8, 2027 at Winona Senior High School, 901 Gilmore Avenue, Winona, MN 55987. Proceeds support the Foundation for Winona Area Public Schools.
Distances offered:
- 4K timed run/walk on grass around the school property
- 1K untimed Mini Donut kids run for children in 4th grade and under
The timed 4K uses a mostly grass course around the school grounds. Age-group awards for the 4K cover both men and women in these divisions: 13 and under; 14–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; and 70 and over. The top three finishers in each age group receive a medal, and there are special awards for the overall male and female.
Registration details include an opening date of January 1, 2027. The 4K entry is $25 if registered by April 23, after which the price increases to $30 on April 24. The 1K Mini Donut run is free for children in 4th grade and under; registration is required and all Mini Donut finishers receive a race medal. Participants who register by April 23 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
Packet pick-up is available Friday, May 7 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Winona Senior High School concourse, with additional packet pick-up on the event day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
