The Norwegian Foot March & Trail Run is an annual event hosted by the Minnesota Army National Guard on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The venue is Arden Hills Army Training Site (AHATS), 4761 Hamline Ave N, Arden Hills, MN 55112. The event is open to the general public, military personnel and their families, and Junior and Senior ROTC programs. Packet pickup, a business expo, and static displays are scheduled the day before the main event; packet pickup and check-in occur on race day morning. Finishers and top age groups will receive awards. All registrants receive a t-shirt, with sizes distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Standards for the Norwegian 30K Foot March require a ruck weighing at least 11 kilograms (24.3 pounds), a water source of at least one quart at the start, and boots for civilians. Military participants are to wear service combat fatigues. The event will be chip-timed by Pickle Events and results will be posted by the timing provider. Icebox 480/240 is a timed trail challenge at Whitetail Ridge in River Falls where you log miles on a roughly 5 mile single track loop. Pick a 4 hour or 8 hour effort with a 1.05 mile final loop in your last hour and aid stations on course.
