Bingo Challenge Races

Lake Elmo, United States • 16 Feb 2026

Event Overview

The Bingo Challenge Races is a backyard-style running event with a bingo game twist. Participants run on a repeated loop trail. The primary goal is to complete a line on a bingo card by finishing laps within a time limit.

Event Format

Runners complete a 3.5+ mile trail loop around Eagle Point Lake. To earn a bingo ball draw, a lap must be finished in under 45 minutes. New loops start every 45 minutes. A maximum of 8 balls can be drawn. If a runner does not complete a bingo line within 8 laps, they receive a DNB (Did Not Bingo) result but still get a recorded time and distance.

Runners choose between two bingo card formats:

  • 3x3 Bingo Card: Results in a total distance between 10.7 and 14.3 miles.
  • 4x4 Bingo Card: Results in a total distance between 14.3 and 28.6 miles.

Course Details

The course is a public trail loop around Eagle Point Lake, starting at the Eagle Point Trailhead in the Eagle Point parking lot. The trail is marked with arrows but has many offshoots. It is not suitable for strollers due to loose soil, mud, dirt, and hills.

Other Events

Alongside the bingo challenge, standard 5k (one lap) and 10k (two lap) races are also offered.

Logistics

Race day packet pickup starts at 7:00 AM. An aid station with water and light snacks is located at the start/finish line, with a water refill station available. The event uses gun timing with chips. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers based on gun time. A post-race celebration with music and light snacks takes place after the finish.
