CityTrail Loppet is an annual urban trail run on May 17, 2026, with three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 10 Mile
The point-to-point course starts in Theodore Wirth Park and finishes at the Sculpture Garden near the Cherry and Spoon sculpture. The route uses a mix of ski trail, singletrack, and asphalt. All finish together at the Sculpture Garden. Aid stations on course will offer water, Gatorade, and Gu gels at locations to be announced. Athlete tracking and post-race results will be available through the Mtec Results app.
Logistics and services
Packet pickup is offered the day before and on race day at the Trailhead. Shuttle buses will run from the Parade Stadium parking lot to the Trailhead before races; there are no post-race shuttles back to the Trailhead. Parade Stadium parking is paid; free parking is available at Dunwoody. Bike racks will be available near the finish. All races provide a bag drop; the 10 Mile and 10K bag drop is in the Trailhead parking lot and the 5K bag drop is at the start on the corner of Hwy 55 and Theo Wirth Parkway. The finish area will include a participant beer from Utepils Brewing for those 21+, nonalcoholic options, food service, and music. Awards for top three overall in male, female, and non-binary categories will be presented for each distance. Registration fees are non-refundable. Proceeds benefit the Loppet Foundation.
