General Information
The Crater Trail Run takes place in Decorah, Iowa. The event uses the off-road, single-track trails of Van Peenen Memorial Park. This park is part of a larger trail system. Proceeds from the event are split between the Northeast Iowa Montessori School, the Decorah Human Powered Trails, and the Decorah Park & Recreation department.

The event offers several race distances:

The start and finish location is at the Van Peenen Park trail head on Quarry Hill Road. Packet pickup is available on Friday before the event in Decorah.
