May 2027

A two-day trail event around Loch Ness with seven race distances from 16 km to 100 miles, fully marked courses, regular aid stations and medical support. Camping and tracking are included for the longer races.

Two coastal trail races along the Moray coastline offering a 50 mile ultra and a 50 km route that pass Findhorn, Lossiemouth, Spey Bay and finish in Cullen, with pre-race buses from Cullen to the start points.

Time-limited ultramarathon on the Formartine and Buchan railway between Maud and Auchnagatt with 12 hour and 6 hour options. Competitors aim to cover as much distance as possible and must reach at least 26.3 miles for a medal.

June 2027

A trail running event at Blair Castle, Blair Atholl on 5 June 2027 with multiple race options from a kids fun run to an ultra. Entry prices range from £10 to £74.

A lapped endurance trail event at Knockburn Sports Loch in Royal Deeside offering 24 hour, 12 hour and 6 hour options on a 4.2 mile loop. Solo and team entries are accepted and on course medical cover and limited camping are available.

August 2027

A fully supported, waymarked 100 mile ultramarathon from Glamis Castle to Stirling Castle held 28–30 August 2027, with staffed pit stops, professional medical cover, bag transport and a 48 hour completion window.

June 2028

A one-day ultramarathon of 39 miles from Kingussie to Inverness and listed as Day 6 of the MTC SCOTIA series. Field size is limited and the race enforces a minimum 4 miles per hour average; it is cup free.

MTC SELKIE is a single-day ultramarathon of about 42 miles from Dornoch to Dunbeath, serving as Day 8 of the nine-day MTC SCOTIA series. Field size is limited, tracking and mandatory kit are required, and a minimum average speed of 4 mph is..
