Newburgh Beach Bash 10K

The Newburgh Beach Bash is a multi-terrain 10 km event organised by Newburgh Dunes Running Club and scheduled for 21 March 2026. The course starts near the Gallows Hill Community Pavilion and includes sections through part of Forvie National Nature Reserve.

The route uses a mix of pavement, trail, sand dunes and beach, so runners encounter varied surfaces over the full distance. Event capacity was set at 320 places and entries opened on 29 October 2025 at 19:00. Entries were accepted online only and the event status is listed as closed.

Race entry was £20.00 with a reduced fee of £18.00 for Scottish Athletics members; membership of JogScotland does not qualify for the Scottish Athletics discount. Competitors had to be at least 15 years old on race day. All finishers receive a medal and a finisher pack. Prizes were allocated to first, second and third in male and female categories plus age categories for 40 plus, 50 plus, 60 plus and under 18.
