All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Prizes include an overall winners trophy, 1st local trophy (Strichen address), a 1st under‑18 trophy, 1st and 2nd male and female places, and age-category prizes where entry numbers permit. Prize support is provided by the event sponsor Pie Aroma.

Any runner under 16 must have parental or guardian consent. Runners under 14 must be accompanied by a fully paid adult entrant and have prior consent from the organiser; on-the-day entry for under-14s is considered individually and requires contact with the organiser.
