Mormond Hill Run is a 5.6-mile (9 km) hill race held in Strichen, Aberdeenshire, starting from the Ritchie Hall playing field. The course climbs about 600 ft, rewarding runners with panoramic views of the Buchan countryside and a summit vista visible from sea to Bennachie. All finishers receive a bespoke medal, with trophies for the overall winners, a local Strichen trophy, and age-category prizes. A water station is located at Hunters Lodge on the hill; refreshments and teas are offered at the finish for donations to the Ritchie Hall funds.
