Crimond Run Fest

Crimond Run Fest is held in Crimond, Aberdeenshire, in the Buchan countryside with views over the Loch of Strathbeg Nature Reserve. The festival offers two distances: 6k and 12k, plus two approx 1.5k kids runs. Spaces are limited to 75 runners per distance.

Proceeds go to Crimond Village Christmas Light project. Registration opens at Crimond Village Hall and closes 20 minutes before each race. The course runs on local roads (not closed to traffic).

Run a scenic multi terrain 10k at Newburgh Beach Bash, weaving pavement, trails, dunes and beach via Forvie Nature Reserve. All finishers get a medal and age group prizes keep the competition lively.

The inaugural Bennachie Ultra on 10 Oct 2026 takes runners over ancient Bennachie hills and Mither Tap with 50k and 31 miles options and 5000 ft of climbing. Rugged runnable trails and sweeping views deliver a true hill running challenge.
