Fyvie Castle 5k and Fun Run 2026
The event is scheduled in 2026 at Fyvie Castle in Fyvie, Turriff AB53 8JS, Scotland. Several dates are listed: 13 March 2026, 18 September 2026 and 20 September 2026. The event is held in conjunction with the Fyvie Parent Council to raise school funds.
Distances offered include:
- 5 km multi terrain run for ages over 5; under 11 must be accompanied
- 1600 m trail run for primary school age up to 14
- 800 m trail fun run for ages up to 14; under 5s accompanied
The 5 km and the 1600 m races are chip timed; the 800 m is a fun run. Finishers medals are provided in all races. Prizes include first boy and first girl in the 800 m and 1600 m, and first, second and third male and female in the 5 km.
Entry fees listed are £11 for the 5 km, £6 for the 1600 m and £4 for the 800 m, each plus an additional per participant fee. Remaining places are shown in the registration information. Registration is noted to open from 9:30 am and registration closes on 18 September 2026.
Fyvie Castle will offer refreshments including tea, coffee, bacon rolls, tea room offerings and ice creams from the shop. The 800 m is on trail surfaces and may not be suitable for some buggies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
