Saltire 24 Ultra Trail Race

A summer hill race at Bennachie Visitor Centre that follows the old turnpike before a rough ascent around Mither Tap and a formed-path descent via Heather Brig. The course is 6.4 km with about 365 m of climb.

Trail running weekend on the Glen Tanar Estate in Aboyne on 25 and 26 July 2026, with races through moorland, pine forest and beside the River Tanar. Distances range from 10 km to 55 km, plus family runs and a toddler dash.

A two-lap hill race from Monaltrie Park through Ballater village to a hill summit and back; entries are accepted on the day or online and bonuses are offered for new course records.

PIM Running Festival at Crathes Castle on 12 September 2026 features a half marathon, a 5 km and a 1.5 km kids race within the estate grounds. Events include prizes, medals and event T shirts and support National Trust for Scotland conserva..
