Saltire 24, 12 and 6

Saltire 24, 12 and 6 is a lapped endurance trail running event held at Knockburn Sports Loch in Strachan, Banchory, AB31 6LL, in Royal Deeside, Scotland. The event takes place from Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st June 2026 and offers timed running options over a marked multi terrain route beside Kerloch Hill and Fetteresso Forest. The lap distance is 4.2 miles; completing one lap per hour for 24 hours is one way to reach 100 miles.

The event accepts solo runners and teams of 2 to 8, with only one team member running at any time. Safety provision includes fixed and mobile marshals and on course medics. Limited serviced camping will be available and peripheral support will be located at the Sports Academy. There is access to a shower block next to the conference centre; portaloos at the event are gender neutral. The organiser states the event is LGBTQ+ friendly and non binary friendly, and entries may be recorded as female, male, or non binary. Minimum age for entry is 18 or older.
