Saltire 24, 12 and 6 takes place on 20–21 June 2026 at Knockburn Sports Loch, Strachan, Banchory (AB31 6LL) in Royal Deeside, Scotland. The event is organised by Rebel PT Ltd. Format, course and facilities

Participants follow waymarked, multi-terrain trails within the Knockburn estate on a lapped course. Available race options are:

  • 24 hour
  • 12 hour
  • 6 hour

The lap distance is 4.2 miles. Teams may enter in sizes from 2 to 8; only one team member runs at any time. Fixed and mobile safety marshals and medics will be located around the course. Limited serviced camping is available. Peripheral support will be based in the Sports Academy and there is access to the shower block next to the conference centre. All event portaloos are gender neutral; the shower block is labelled male/female and open showers may be used by whichever side participants feel comfortable with.
