Saltire 24, 12 and 6 is a lapped endurance trail running event at Knockburn Sports Loch, Strachan, Banchory, AB31 6LL. Format and course

Participants run repeated laps of a waymarked trail within the Knockburn estate, beside Kerloch Hill and Fetteresso Forest. The lap distance is 4.2 miles. Solo entries and team entries are available; teams can be small or large with up to 8 members, and only one team member runs at any time.

Support and facilities

The event will have fixed and mobile safety marshals and medics on the course. Limited serviced camping will be available on site. Peripheral support will be based at the Sports Academy and there is access to the shower block next to the conference centre.
