Saltire 24 is a lapped endurance trail running event held at Knockburn Sports Loch in Strachan, Banchory, in Royal Deeside. The event takes place on the weekend of 20 to 21 June 2026 and uses waymarked trails within the Knockburn estate beside Kerloch Hill and Fetteresso Forest. The course lap measures 4.2 miles.

  • 24 hour option
  • 12 hour option
  • 6 hour option

Entrants may compete solo or as part of a team of two to eight people. For teams, only one team member runs at any time. The event notes that fixed and mobile safety marshals and medics will be positioned around the course. Limited serviced camping will be available and peripheral support will be located at the Sports Academy. Participants have access to the shower block next to the conference centre. All event portaloo facilities are gender neutral; the event is described as LGBTQ+ friendly and non binary friendly. Minimum age to enter is 18 on the event date.
