The Bristow 15 Mile Trail Race is a challenging running event set amidst the stunning Highland scenery of Balmoral Estates in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Starting with views of Balmoral Castle, the course follows the River Dee westward before ascending through the Ballochbuie pine forest. At mile 8, runners face a climb of about 120 meters toward the base of Lochnagar, followed by a fast descent back toward the castle, with a tricky finish. The mostly Land Rover track route includes two water stations and mile markers throughout.
