The Dramathon
The Dramathon is a running event in Speyside known as the Speyside Single Malt Marathon. It takes place on 17th October 2026 and offers several distance options along the Speyside Way.
The full marathon follows the Speyside Way from Glenfarclas distillery to Glenfiddich distillery. The route passes multiple distilleries along the way. Depending on the distance completed, participants can collect corresponding whisky miniature bottles at the finish.
Distances available include:
- 42 km The Full Dram - starts at Glenfarclas distillery.
- 21 km The Half Dram - starts near Tamdhu distillery; follows the same route as the full.
- 10 km The Wee Dram - starts in Aberlour and runs along the Speyside Way to Balvenie and Glenfiddich.
- 42 km Team relay for four runners.
