Tom’s Cairn Trail Races in Finzean, Deeside, Scotland, offer a flagship 10.1 km route with a 239 m ascent to Tom’s Cairn summit and a 5 km circuit through Finzean Woods. Both races start and finish at Birse and Feughside Parish Church; the 10K uses estate tracks, climbs to the cairn, then crosses fields and returns via Finzean Community Path, while the 5K stays on estate tracks with wooded glimpses and finishes uphill at the church. A children’s fun race, home-bakes, hot drinks, piping on the hill, and live music add to the atmosphere.
