Moray Coastal Trail Races : 9 May 2026

The event comprises two ultramarathon distances along the Moray Coastal Trail on the Moray coast of Scotland. The route runs close to the Moray Firth and combines clifftop sections, wide sandy beaches, forest paths, and a series of seaside villages. Notable route features include Roseisle Forest, visible dinosaur footprints, Bow Fiddle Rock, the Spey Bay dolphin area, and several lighthouses.

Distance options:

  • 50 miles from Findhorn to Cullen Viaduct, cutoff 16 hours.
  • 50 km from Lossiemouth to Cullen Viaduct, cutoff 10 hours.

Both races offer fully stocked aid stations and drop bag support; the shorter race includes two drop bags. Each race has a maximum field of 150 runners. Entrants must be 18 or older.
