Course and facilities

The point-to-point route starts at Archiestown Village Square and finishes at Cardhu Distillery. The course runs through Elchies woods on land-management firetracks, becomes more undulating with upland views, and turns narrower and muddier around 4 miles with a fast downhill on the Mannoch Road. There is a road crossing of the B9102 with marshals on hand, then a section beside Cardhu reservoir before the finish.

Registration is held in Archiestown Village Hall and toilets are available there and at Cardhu Distillery visitor centre. Water is provided at the halfway point and finish. A shuttle bus links start and finish, parking is available at the village and at the distillery, and a sweeper runner, first aid, and volunteer marshals will be on the course. Prize categories cover 1st and 2nd male and female, and veteran categories V40, V50, V60, V70. All entrants receive a finisher memento.
