A trail event on 31 May 2026 around Ullswater offering three distances. The 33.5 mile ultra includes Lowther and Dalemain loops, the 21.5 mile is a full lake lap, and the 10 mile runs from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding.

Three Ullswater Way trail races in Cumbria offer a 33.5 mile Ultra, a 21.5 mile Trail 20 and a 10 mile Trail 10. Registration is at Jenkins Field in Glenridding and Trail 10 starts at Pooley Bridge.

Tackle the Otley Chevin fell race on Wed 3 Jun 2026, a classic 3 mile challenge with 210 m of climb across rugged West Yorkshire terrain. Fast, friendly and fiercely competitive, this long running tradition welcomes runners aged 16 plus.

Experience a flat trail run through the Fox Rush Farm Community Woodland with 3k and 5k options. Enjoy chip timed races on established paths organized by New Marske Harriers and receive a burger and medal at the finish.

Bingley Rock up n' Run on 4 June 2026 offers 5 km and 10 km options at 5 Rise Locks, Beck Lane. The route crosses the canal and past participants described a relaxed, friendly finish atmosphere.

A five mile hilly fell race around Kettlewell with grassy tracks, climbs and fast descents. Entry is limited to 100 and fees are £6 for EA affiliated runners and £8 for non affiliated runners.

Stickle Grind 650 on 5 June 2026 is a 2.4 km vertical race from Lanty Slees Stickle Barn near Ambleside that gains 650 m to the summit of Harrison Stickle, with a manned checkpoint, safety team, and a recycled medal for finishers.

A 38 km skyrunning event in the Central Lake District with 2800 m ascent on technical single track and scree, summiting England's highest mountain. Entries require runners aged 19 or older and a competency attestation.

A trail event at Station Top, Otley, offering a 51 km ultra (also a 4-person relay), a 25 km super and a 16 km challenge on public footpaths with marked routes, checkpoints and required kit for off-road conditions.

A technical 21 km trail run in Great and Little Langdale on 6 June 2026, based at Lanty Slees Stickle Barn. The course has 850 m of ascent, marked trails, a manned checkpoint and a recycled paper mache seed bomb medal.

A range of supported trail distances based at Kendal including a 100 km loop through Garburn Pass, Ambleside and alongside Lake Windermere. The event features covered rest stops, GPS tracking, medical teams, camping options and finishers me..

Samaritans Way Ultra at Guisborough Rugby Club on 6 June 2026 offers trail races of 40 km and 60 km plus a 60 km relay. The event is held in partnership with Teesside Samaritans and donates profits to the local branch.

A 24 hour, 50 miles linear route from Marsden to Ilkley across the South Pennines, visiting six Stanza Stones inscribed with poems by Simon Armitage. The event features live tracking, three indoor checkpoints and a finishers meal.

Glentress 8 Hour Challenge is an 8 hour running event at Glentress on 6 June 2026 organised by NU Limits Running. Registration for this edition closed on 3 March 2026.

A waymarked 100 km coastal ultra from near Bamburgh Castle to Tynemouth Priory, with five feed stations, route tracking, mandatory kit list and a 24-hour cut-off; finishers receive a medal and merchandise.
