Trail Running calendar near Offwell 2026-2027

A 100 km route across the Brecon Beacons with 3178 m ascent, six staffed checkpoints and a 24 hour cut off. Entry by application on 25 July 2026 requires prior ultramarathon experience and competent map and compass navigation.

A 100 mile mountain ultramarathon following the Beacons Way National Trail through the Brecon Beacons. This self navigation race features over 6000m of ascent and passes the highest peaks in South Wales.

Ultra X Wales is a multi day trail race in the Brecon Beacons near Abergavenny offering six distances from 12 km to 110 km. Races include marked courses, medical support, checkpoints and camping options and some are UTMB Index categories.

A 7 hour time challenge at Dare Valley Country Park where runners choose distance from 3 km to 50 km. Finishers from 3 km receive a themed medal and longer distances earn pins.

An evening multi-terrain 5.75 mile run based at the Millpool Centre in West Looe, routed through Kilminorth and Trelawne Woods. Mementos for finishers, prizes for overall and local winners, and proceeds support Looe Lions local charities.

A road half marathon and a multi-terrain 5K around Sturminster Newton on 2 August 2026, organised by the Dorset Doddlers as a Dorset Road Race League event with on-course support and children's races at the school field.

A 57 mile point to point ultramarathon along the Thames Path from Kemble Station to Travelodge Oxford Abingdon Road with four checkpoints, mandatory kit requirements and a bespoke finisher medal and head visor for competitors.

Two trail distances along the Mendip Way on 8 August 2026, finishing at Uphill Sands Beach. The routes feature woodlands, hilltop views and coastal terrain with aid stations and a cupless policy.

Tackle the Sticklepath Horseshoe a 15.5 km fell race over rugged moorland with 519 m climb. Pre entry is limited so book early. Bring map compass and solid navigation skills as this event is not suitable for beginners.

A trail running event in the Brecon Beacons on 8 August 2026 offering 24K and 51K routes with marked kilometres, marshals, stocked aid stations, chip timing and a finisher medal. An event village provides food, drink and free race photos.

A multi distance event in Bath that runs through two railway tunnels and along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Routes range from a 500 m fun run to 50 km with on course aid stations, timed results, finisher medals and first aid on site.

A mainly trail 5k from Peveril Point to Anvil Point Lighthouse and back into Swanage, held as part of Swanage Lifeboat Week and one of six races in the Purbeck Trail Series.
