Black Rocks Fell Race in Matlock on 8 July 2026 runs mostly on good trails with a mid race climb past Black Rocks and a total ascent of 800 feet. The event is organised by Matlock Athletic Club.

A 6.7 km fell race around the Stiperstones from Snailbeach with 375 m of ascent, steady climbs and mixed descents. Entries are available by pre-entry or on the evening and proceeds support local charities and Natural England.

A multi-terrain 5km in Fermyn Woods Country Park on Wednesday 8th July, part of the Northants 5K Series. Limited parking, bespoke finishers medals and a virtual completion option are available; entries close 23:59 on Tuesday 7th July.

Thurlstone Chase is a 6.4 Kilometre fell race at Thurlstone Gala Football Field in South Yorkshire on 9 July 2026. It uses a single lap of undulating terrain and offers age-group prizes plus cash bonuses for record performances.

A 6-hour timed run along the flat Jubilee River in Slough on July 9, 2026. Participants complete laps of 5.24 miles, choosing their own distance. Every finisher gets a medal.

A 59 mile point to point ultramarathon following much of the River Severn from Shrewsbury to Worcester. The race has four checkpoints with vegan and gluten free options and enforces a minimum pace of 4.0 miles per hour.

A *10 km* trail race at Coombe Abbey Park on 10 July 2026, run over two laps through woodland, meadow and grass with on-course water and basic facilities. Tiered entry fees apply and optional charity donations are available.

A six hour, self paced lap event at Coombe Abbey Park on a 3.3 mile loop of stone paths, meadow and tree cover. Runners choose how many laps to complete; rucking is allowed and an eco friendly tree token is available instead of a medal.

Midlands Spartan Weekend at Belvoir Castle (July 10-12, 2026) features Sprint, Super, Beast, a Kids Race and Hurricane Heat, arranged as a Trifecta Weekend so racers can complete Sprint, Super and Beast across one weekend.
