Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge : 27 September 2026

Charity Link’s Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge is a fundraising hike or run through the Charnwood countryside held each September. The route starts and finishes at Beacon Hill Country Park and visits the summits of Beacon Hill, Bardon Hill and Old John in Bradgate Park. The course covers approximately 16 miles.

The event raises funds to provide essential items for local people in need, including food, clothing, beds and cookers. Since the challenge launched in 2016, participants have raised over £116,000 in total. Recent editions reported charitable income figures for individual years, including over £18,000 raised in 2025 and over £14,000 in 2024.

People who register purchase their place through the organiser’s online shop and must complete a registration and disclaimer form. All participants need to read the event Health and Safety Information Sheet; registrants receive further information and email updates ahead of the challenge. Entry for this year’s event closes on Wednesday 16th September.

Past event finishes have included participant items such as medals, certificates and goodie bags. The organiser works with local business supporters to provide materials and support for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
