Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge 27/09/26

The Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge is a charity hike or run held on Sunday 27 September 2026 through the Charnwood countryside. The route starts and finishes within Beacon Hill Country Park and visits the summits of Beacon Hill, Bardon Hill and Old John in Bradgate Park. The full route covers approximately 16 miles.

The event raises funds to provide essential items for local people in need, including food, clothing, beds and cookers. Since the event launched in 2016, participants have raised over £116,000 in total. Recent years show continuing local support, with the 2025 event raising over £18,000 and the 2024 event raising over £14,000.

On past event days participants have received a medal, certificate and a goodie bag at the finish, and some dogs have taken part. Organisers provide an event information pack and a Health and Safety Information Sheet for participants. A registration and disclaimer form is required as part of the entry process and registrants receive further information and updates before the event.
